The 10 BEST Fitness Channels on Youtube (Yoga, HIIT, Pilates, Barre, Boxing, and Weights)

by - March 12, 2017

When you're new to fitness it can be intimidating to commit to a workout class or program. It's also more comfortable and convenient (and less lined up!) to workout at home. Youtube videos are a great way to try something new without spending hundreds of dollars.

Whether you're new to fitness or looking for something new, I've rounded up the 10 best Youtube channels below.

1. Tara Stiles

I'm starting this post with Tara because this is where I started my fitness journey. Tara is a yoga instructor whose videos are both AMAZING and usually around only 10 minutes. If you're looking to sneak some yoga into your busy day, or just try it out, then this is the place to look!
My recommendation:

2. Yoga With Adriene

If there were an award for funniest, chillest, most I-want-to-hang-out-with-est person on Youtube it might go to Adriene! Adriene leads many different styles of yoga, but infuses each with the playfulness she brings to the practice. A must for days when you aren't feeling much like working out.
My recommendation:

3.XHIT Daily

XHIT makes celebrity-inspired bodyweight workout videos. Not much to say here except the workouts are good, the instructor is fun, and I really love the Victoria's Secret angels, ok!?
My recommendation:

4.Blogilates

Blogilates is run by the bubbly Cassie Ho. Her videos are on the shorter side, but still pack a punch. Cassie also offers free monthly calendars on her website, such as the Blogilates Beginners Calendar.
My recommendation:

5. Jessica Smith TV

While many fitness channels on Youtube are more pilates and yoga-based (which isn't a bad thing) Jessica mixes it up by offering ballet barre, weight training, and kickboxing videos. Who doesn't want to pretend they're a ballerina or a fighter when they workout?
My recommendation:

6. Yoga by Candace

Candace's videos have the perfect pace and flow for any fan of vinyasa yoga. Her videos come with a gentle no-nonsense approach to the practice, allowing you to focus on the moving-meditation aspect of yoga.
My recommendation:

7. Tone It Up

Tone It Up is run by Karena and Katrina. Their workouts cover most styles, and need more equipment than the other channels on this list. While their website offers paid content, you can access most of their videos for free on Youtube. If you're looking to make the most of their workouts (or stick to more of a workout plan) I recommend adding the free daily workout moves on their blog!
My recommendation:

8. Ali Kamenova Interval Yoga

This is not your typical yoga workout! Ali mixes vinyasa yoga with HIIT workouts making her videos an especially good sweat.
My recommendation:

9. Boho Beautiful

Another yoga channel? Maaaaybe, but Boho Beautiful's pilates videos will kill you like no other. The editing steps these videos up a notch as modifications aren't just mentioned, but shown in a separate real-time window on screen.
My recommendation:

10. BananaBlondie108

Michelle's videos mix vinyasa and dance to create one sexy yoga flow. Just remember not to take yourself too seriously if you're a beginner, half the fun is not always being flexible enough to look sexy!
My recommendation:

Have you guys tried any of the youtubers in this list? Let me know if you love or hate them, and what your favourite fitness channels are in the comments! I'd love to try out any I missed.
Talk to you soon,
Vanessa.
